    Need help fixing stripped screw hole?

    One of the two screws hole on the gear cover (the little one) is stripped don't know how to fix it properly

    Probably the simplest way to do it is to just use a slightly larger screw.

    The gear cover screws aren't that important anyway. They usually will stick inside even if the tranny case is stripped.

    Try putting some CA glue down the hole and then install the screw. The CA glue will form threads around the screw inside of the hole, and it should help keep the screw in there better. It's not a permanent fix, but it works... I have done it a couple of times. .

    Huh? That sounds like a good tip! I'll try that next time I strip a screw (and I need some CA glue too.)

    Let me know if this works (the glue)... I had the EXACT thing happen to me as well.
