    Is the Slayer for me?

Hello guys I am thinking seriously about picking one of these up. I already have a Slash, E-Revo, VXL Bandit, Stampede etc. I am sure with the previous list most of you see my concern. I am not a nitro guy. I love electric. Yes, I know that these can be converted via the Tekno RC conversion but I wouldn't mind trying Nitro for a change as I love the smell and the sound. If I covert to electric I would just pull all of the nitro components from the truck before I ran them so I could get more cash for it. I have a few questions for you experts.

How hard are the 3.3 engines to tune and maintain?

Would I just be better off with a converted one?

Is the 3.3 nitro newbie friendly?

Please help me out here guys. I would like to pick one up today if I am going to do it. Thanks, H

You will love it. The 3.3 isnt that hard to tune and maintain especially if you get the new Traxxas top fuel. Read the manual that comes with it and you will be fine and we are here to help with any questions you might have.

Once I got mine broke in according to the directions, it was ready for some wild rides. It didn't disappoint me at all. It was a little intimidating to begin with, but tuning it was a piece of cake. Just follow the detailed info in the booklet that is provided and it gives you just about any answer that you could have a question for. I also have a Nitro Rustler that provided the foundation to the Slayer for me...

if you do want to convert the slayer if you wanna get it just buy an e-revo or use the existing and buy the arms, bumpers, push rods, turnbuckles, body, driveshafts, and tires/wheels from a slayer and put them on your e-revo
you can have to trucks in one
plus if you buy four more knuckles it would be really easy to switch between e-revo and e-slayer
