    Motor done in 2 weeks

I checked my motor today after running it and the shaft wobbles side to side in the bushings. It only has about 15 runs on it, how long has everyone else motors lasted?

3 months so far. I race it a lot, plus practice on my track. I estimate at least 60 packs through it. Clean it regularly, and lube the bushings is all I do. Still going strong! I run 7 cell NiMh's also.

i guess it depends on if you clean or maintain the motor, which includes oiling the bushings or running them dry and expecting them to last forever

i'm an electric noob, well kinda all the other stuff i had was brushless. I never owned a brushed motor vehicle before. I'm going brushless this week, and buying another one (slash) to race in a spec class.

I have heard stories of these motors not lasting long.I just got my Slash last Thursday and ran about 6-8 packs through it and no signs of slowing yet.I did notice after running my 3 heats yesterday that there was alot of dust inside the motor. We have an air blower at our track and when I blew out the motor there was a big cloud that came out.Gotta keep those things cleaned and oiled.I just used the 40wt shock oil I had with me.

Mine is on its last legs. I have 24 runs on it with 7 cell 4600's and it is now starting to run hot and losing power.
I tried being reasonable, I didn't like it.

Trinity sells bushing oil in a bottle with a needlepoint applicator (very handy), or some 3-in-1 oil would work well. One drop is all that is needed.

Mine almost died, but I fixed it. I went VXL only about 2 months after getting it, but the Titan is a good backup.
