want to build E-Revo with spare parts

    Hi @ all,

because the E-Revo is a fantastic car I want to get one, but for me the modelling is to build the car part for part. Today the most companies make only Ready to Run Kits, which don't afford any fun (in my opinion).

So i'd like to build a E-Revo from the spare parts and wanted to know some thing:

    1. Will I get everything i will need?
    2. What are the costs for this?
    3. Does anybody does this here in this forum and can give me some informations?

I'd be happy when someone could give me some informations.

    Greatings, Tom

It will cost more to do it all separately, you might want to start with some rolling chassis....

And, the E-Revo is really really simple to build, I found this out a couple days ago when I took it all apart to dye.... It would be like a 5 hour build... That's nothing compared to all the old kits....

But here's some people who have been doing it

    Guy one

    Guy two

Guy three (really really really did it from scratch)

It's deffinately possible... You might want to use tower or some other huge hobby site, and fill your cart with everything you need, that way you won't have to get in wave after wave of shipments, like I did when I was building a sailboat....

You can buy parted out e-revos on Ebay and build one for a under $200, it will be just rolling chassis..electronics would be extra..

I started with a Revo 2.5 that was converted to a Revo 3.3 then pruchased parts and made a E-Revo. Just buy parted out E-Revo pieces from Ebay shops. It is nice if you do not need the ESC and motors or the AM radio.
