    Ride Height Qwerstion...

I would like a tall ride height but not super rigid. Want to build a Showy Monster that stands tall. Can someone give me suggestions on the proper setup for this? Do I need the long travel rockers and pushrods? Springs???

    Thanks...

Here is the setup me and my dad use:

Front - Silver springs, innermost hole on the arms for the pushrods
Rear - Blue springs, innermost hole on the arms for the pushrods

I set the preload on the shocks to the max that they could be until just before the coils of the springs were touching when the suspension was compressed fully. From there I made fine adjustments to get the stance right.

Our trucks ride like monsters now. Keep the stock rockers and pushrods.

You could use Purple springs all around and set the push rods on the innermost hole, then use the extended travel rocker arms...

That should get you pretty high...

On my nitro revo i used an extra set of red spacers on the pushrods. I have 4 per side instead of 2. I only did this on the back as the nitro sits low in the rear. Howerever the extra spacers lifted the truck approx. 1/2 an inch without causing a noticeable difference in handleing.

Gage, I am using the long travel rockers, purple springs in front, blue in back, pushrods in middle holes and just put 60wt oil in tonight. So far it has been to soft. Will see what difference 60wt makes tomorrow. It is very interesting how dramatic the changes are when you change simple things like rockers and springs. You can make any setup work for bashing but it just takes some dialing in...
