not to much. very simple and easy truck once u get to play around with it. theres no big kind of issue or anyting. just replace tires regularly as i do. Lots of wheel spin

Well for starters, it's not a petrol engine. It's a nitro engine.

it just wants to wheelie... its got crazy acceleration, make sure you have huge space to drive it... once you get use to the speed you can pretty much drive it anywhere, even in tight spaces... and give yourself about 45yards for braking... the brakes aint that great...

If I were you I would download the users manual 1st
    http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...ews.htm#manual
then because it’s a 2nd hand I would directly download the Troubleshooting from here
    http://www.traxxas.com/support/kb_se...cat=175&id=553

anything else I would just ask members of this forum
this should be a good start .

ummmm, dont know hey,i wanna use the hyper 7 for racin, maybe, not sure yet,the warhead will be my thrash car at skateparks and sh*t and the jato probably be a thrash car but not as hardcore as the warhead, the sort of thing i can take out and say to every one "check this sh*t out" and spin em out cos how fast the thing is,i probably will take it off road, quite reguarly too me thinks

i hope it does. there's a possibility that you might faces
some difficulties ( hope not ) i wish you'll by pass it.

you can zip tie the sawybar like this over the aftermarket front part

its got the after market front arms aswell and theres no ball to clip the bar onto, not that it needs it cos the front wheels are in the air most of time!!
brakes are the little plastic arm needs replacing, and it has a bit of a flat spot down low,but it still hammers!!i cant believ how quick it is

    Edited for language.

I'm with Forbes on that too, don't waste a minute of your time with the stinking sway bars, on road or off road you just don't need them. Like he said, "selling point" they sound great, like they're gonna really turn your Jato into road holding go-cart, but they don't work worth a darn.

the jato appears in a very good condition the ofna hyper 7 comes in lower level.
good for you .. your jato already upgraded with nova cooling head, the best all around
worth something like 40 bucks new.

yea Switch, if i didn't prefers the Traxxas products over the thunder tiger & HPI's it was going to be easier to me to get parts.
These days i'm looking for those rims hubs and getting annoyed because i can't get them while i'm not sure + mistakes during order not acceptable .

sadly,im in australia and i didnt get a receipt with the car,i dont have the standard cooling head to go back with it aswell so the replacement plan is kinda outta the question for me,i already looked into it,100 bucks aint to bad to cough up,it will still basically be almost a new engine,im guessing i'll have to do the break in process again just with new piston and sleeve??

i didnt read the thread so i dont know what happened or why u need to fix the motor.

but as of the last question yea.
if u cant do the ERP then you would be putting the piston and sleeve in and breakin it in. but i guees u dont have it but im pretty sure when u get the jato it comes with an extremely helpful book on what to do/ look for when replacing parts on the motor...get it?
