    Talking I want a go-cart!!!!

Ok, I want a go cart that I can drive on my lawn and trails. The problem is that I have only $400 to spend.
I am looking at this: http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200356855_200356855&issearch=13135

I would LOVE to drop in this motor:http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=96154

I guess this one would be more realistic, but no electric start. I really want electric start:
    http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=96549

Problem is that my 400 budget just went out the window with either engine.

I could sell my tmaxx and a few other odds and ends to help fund it.

I am a fairly tall dude, about 5'8". I wonder if I would even fit in that chassis? It looks pretty big from the pics.

    Any ideas?

well what i would do is to save up, and get a go kart with either a suspension or dampening system and/or a differentil of some sort, i say this because my neigbor has a single seat go kart, alot like that (maybe the crappy old engine has something to do with it) but the engine vibrates so thats all you feel when your driving and if you go off road your insane with all the bumps youll fly off,

and you have to take such a wide turn because the rear tires just bump and skid around because of the solid axle
..and when I looked to the left I saw a parked car

Haha, that would be awsome! Get a 4 banger out of some old honda. Imagine the burnouts! Those tiny turf tires would be smokin'!LOL!

Anyway, a very bad thing happened. My grandfather bought one of these for himself:

    http://www.amsportworks.com/gokarts.php?id=quantum

I am so jealous right now. Adjustable steering wheel and everything! Has a oil cooler rad with a tiny oil filter on it. CVT, 4 wheel disk brakes, lights, bucket seats.... the list is endless.

And it comes with a $3,000 price tag.

Are you kidding me? My first quad was a Polaris. Great quad. Heavy, but great quad. Have you ever even owned one?

Besides that, it will easily beat out (Reliability wise) these generic Chinese go karts.

Wow, I forgot about this thread. I am glad that I didn't get one of those of Chinese go-karts. My grandfather has been nothing but problems with his. It is pretty much a piece of crap.

Anyway, I have been trail-riding my '71 honda SL-100. I can do more with my bike than he can do with that kart.

    Becides, I just spent my money on a new 4908 t-maxx 3.3.

Edit: shoot, stupid host screwed my bandwith.
