    After market parts and transmitter??

I just got an E-Revo and I'm already looking to put some upgrades on it. Can anyone steer me to the best place to start, or is too early to see much in the after market right now? I'm looking for things like shocks, skid plates, suspension arms, aluminum push rods & turnbuckles, etc.

Also, what's the best 2.4G radio available? It seems like the stock transmitter is real touchy, a little steering input goes a long way! I've been looking at the Spektrum DX3R and the Futaba 3PM, both look nice and have good features, but the Spektrum is about $100 more. Is it worth it, or is the Futaba just as good. I assume both have the ability to adjust the amount of steering you get with a given amount of input-----right?

Is switching to a new TX a big deal, or is it fairly straight forward?

Thanks in advance for your input!!!!

yes the 3r has that ability of adjusting steering rate as well as many other programing

    Spektrum DX3R Features

    30 model memory
    Digital trims
    Graphically depicted exponential
    Graphically depicted travel adjustment
    Trim rate adjustment
    Steering dual rate
    Steering dual rate override
    Frame rate
    Servo monitor
    Switch assignment
    Model reset
    Model copy
    Sub Trims
3 timer functions: countdown, count up and integrated

all in all the 3pm 2.4faast system is good also so its a toss up in my opinion

i just chose the dx3r because of filmilarity of the products and owning other products like dx6i and dx7, and because of the way it feels .

Anything that fits the nitro revos (2.5 and onwards) will fit the Erevo in terms of shocks, arms, rods etc. Skidplates might be a little more difficult, though you only really need the front and rears, so try NewEraRacing.com

I only hear of people NOT upgrading the stock shocks, as they're great. Some people use variable rate pistons, but that's about it.

I have a Futaba 3PM and love it.

I haven't used one, but my next radio will be an Airtronics MX-3FHSS.

I would get Spektrum DX2.0 if you're on budget, cheaper than DX3.0, works great and absolutely no glitches, just need to get a y-splitter for dual servos.
