Saw a Slayer running in Oshkosh WI

Hey everyone, I went to the WSORR race this weekend and Traxxas had 2 Slayers there. Holy cow this thing hauled some serious butt!!! The Traxxas rep was running one in the parking lot. It was surprisingly stable, at first when I was looking at it at the booth, I was thinking it would roll pretty easy with the short a arms, but he was giving her the berries pretty hard and she stayed on her feet. I just thought I would share my excitement with you all. I figure if they are running one for the public to watch, shipment wont be far off! (Fingers crossed)

As for stability, it's not narrow.

I wasnt trying to get in a digger on its width, its only after looking at my Revos, so often, when I looked at the Slayer, with basically a Revo Chassis, it makes it seem narrow. I cant wait for this baby to come out, I already have 350 down on one and my Bandit is for sale on the shelf, hopefully that will sell and pick up the rest of the cost on the Slayer.

I mean it's not narrow compared to a Rustler (they don't flip over either).

My LHS has ordered Slayers from Traxxas so hopefully we'll get them faster than we got the Slash in.

I can get my Sport to flip pretty easily its a pain actually and I have extended arms.

my jato is extended
and i can get it on 2 wheels not flip over
only when it spins and i try to drive it out

How did you extend it? I have got ours on to its side on two wheels and I rode it for a few feet than came back down on all four tires sadly I have no idea how I did it and have tried and failed to do it again.

where the a-arms met the pins i conected the a-arm with some metel i made and made my custom own tierods
i took lunsford design

but i took of everything on the chassis and cut it and made a 1inch plate to conect on it and i welded everything up

it looks the same cause i know some anodizing peaople so they sandblasted it and re-anodized so it looks the same

I also saw the Slayer run in Oshkosh this weekend. It did look pretty sweet. I talked to one of the Traxxas guys and he told me that to convert the Revo 3.3 to a Slayer you would need the 2.5 chasis and all suspension components. And for the drive shafts on all four corners. They are the Revo 3.3 center front shafts.

I don'tlike the design of some of the revo parts.But I have to have a Slayer.I think thats one fun loonking truck.

Probably so. You need the arms, turnbuckles, wheels/tires, body, driveshafts (Revo 3.3 front center shaft), pushrods, bumpers and nerf bars.
