    Endbell popping

My e-revo will probably arrive tomorrow but I have already ordered the 7XL last night from impaktrc with some pinions.
I've read about those popping endbells. Do these happen only to XL cans or also to L cans? Are those rc-monster clamps a must for these motors?
    Thanks.

Off-road driving causes a good bit of vibration and jarring to the motor. Its not a guaranteed thing to happen, but its likely. I suggest the clamps to take care of the problem before it happens. No downtime.

    Thank you.
Is there a cheaper alternative to rc-monster clamp?

I'm like 80% sure that the new NeuMotors come with an endball cover?

i would just bite the bullet and buy the clamp/heatsink....the endbell caap comes off because of vibration AND heat!

Here's my custom clamp in my maxx.A couple little notches in the motor plate and .50$ on parts,it works just fine. You'd have to modify it some for the Erevo, but if you used countersunk screws you could just drill through the motor mount.
