SLAyer SLAsh...I think they go together rather well. It doesn't have scaled down Revo suspension, it has regular Revo suspension with shorter arms. If it's not progressive enough for you, just change the rockers.

i must agree... name is good... suspension will need to be tweaked for the terrain the truck will be run on.

well if you think about the history of Team Associated "t" stands for TRUCK. "b" stands for BUGGY. "gt" stands for GAS TRUCK and the numbers specify which edition it is. simple names simple formula.

Yeah, Slayer rocks hard. Slash was the guitarist for Guns 'n Roses.

I dont see anyone bashing traxxas here. Seems to me most everyone is saying (cept for the OP), that its a good name. I agree that the name is good.

ya that sounds about right, you gotta grow your hair long and worship the devil to own the Slayer..........C'mon.......... What's in a name anyways? If the truck is cool and it's a blast to drive, who cares?? They could call it the Daisy, the Flower, the Traxxas Puppy Dog, or the Bee Gee for all I care... As long as it hauls, handles, and puts a smile on my face I'm buying and driving it regardless of the name.......

At first I was a little curious as to why Traxxas had chosen the name "Slayer" for this nitro powered version of the Slash. Then it hit me, someone at Traxxas loves their Rock/Metal!!

Yes, Slayer is still alive and thrashing .

@Hang Fire: Corvette is nowhere near the size of a battleship. It's a little larger than a Destroyer "Nimble warship" is more like it .
    Traxxas: Stampede, E Maxx
    Losi: Muggy

You missed completely the point I was making. I know both trucks are different. The pushrods on the Slayer is a dead give away.

I think calling it what it is would be good, The Slayer: CORR Pro 4, and the The Slash: CORR Pro 2.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize that "battleship" was specific and "warship" was a more broad, general term.

I remember on TV some old-time sailor talking about how the Corvette was like a duck, it would just ride up on top of whatever water it was on.

They're not? I thought they could run really fast, and were the origins of the American Quarterhorse. I could be wrong, I don't know much about horses. Thanks for the info.
