    Went Brushless

I picked up the Novak XBR Sport package today and installed. WOW what a difference in performance. I'm still using a 6 cell 2200 battery pack but that will change in few days. After that I will start working on gearing change to get the most out of it.

What number of turns? 13.5, 10.5., or 8.5? I have a old Novak Supersport ESC and a new EX 8.5 motor I'm thinking of trying out...

Cool, keep us posted. They race stock Slashes here in Austin, so I've been waiting on moving to brushless - but I'm very tempted to do it soon. My EX has had the sintered rotor upgrade kit installed, so I have high hopes for it. I used its original rotor and endbell in my old SS5800 motor.

I love my brushless VXL, more of everthing!
take off speeds are great, Gearing 22/90 - running the clutch at 1 1/4 turns loose. almost lights it up on concrete, rips thru the dirt. Great wheelies off a bump and 30 mph at your finger tips
