    Slash TRANS GAP PHOTO check yours!!

    Here is a photo I filled the gap up with grease It's way big enough for tons of dirt to get into the gear box...I also took it all apart and tried tightening everything bvut it stays the same looks like falty gear box desighn that traxxas was to lazy to fix ... On my bandit and rustler you can't see it because its up against the back of the chassis...

    yeah i noticed that on my rustler but atleast nothing gets in because its against the back of the chassis

    Sealed mine when I pulled it out of the box.

    As soon as I get my wheelie bar do hickey from FLM, the problem will be solved forever with my flm gearbox.
    I tried being reasonable, I didn't like it.

    I put a piece of tape around it to seal it up. Electrical tape works the best IMHO.

    Yeah, I taped mine up... It looks like the tranny case just isn't molded as nicely as some of the other parts. I'm kinda thinking about an aluminum case, but I'd guess it would be fairly heavy... Anyone got the FLM tranny case or the NEW ERA?
