Is the Slash the right truck for me?

Hi All,

I own a Nitro Stampede and a rc10t3 and a few other rc's. I am thinking of getting a slash or an E-maxx. I think I am going to go with the slash. I live right next to the woods and I drive The T3 and Pede in their without a problem do you think the slash would be just as good. For the charger I use a Dynamite peak 2. I have deans on it though. What does the speed control come with on the slash (Deans, Standard Plug, Trx plug). Also you can't beat the price. So what do you think Would the slash or emaxx be better.

I think it would all depend on how rough the terrain is in your back woods. Yes, Slash is two-wheel-drive just like your Stampede, but it also has smaller tires that might get stopped up by some twigs/rocks that your Stampede will just drive over.

It's impossible to compare the Slash to EMaxx. They're completely different for different driving styles.

The Slash XL5 controller is equipped with the TRX connector.

I think I am going to go with the slash. On towers they have the coupon for $25 off it. I Think I would get a battery. I have a few other battery's but not a 7 cell.This is the one. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTHV4&P=7
On my charger I have Dean connectors so I would have to buy or make a connector from deans to trx plugs. Does anyone know of a connector I could buy and where to buy?

I don't know about that... if you lived or live in Florida, we have something here called St. Augustine grass...

Even my E-PEDE whines in it.

The Slash... just gets stuck. It's about as thick as grass comes.

But really short thin grass, and dirt, it's a whole lotta fun!!!
