    Wheel Nuts...

Anyone know where I can get a pack of wheel nuts... aka lug nuts IMHO.

Lost one on my Slash last night, and usually I locktite them on, but forgot.

I'd like to have some spares in case I lose one, seems like a pretty common issue.

I searched ebay, and a few LHS websites, but doesn't appear they have them as "wheel nuts".

    What do they call them???

I'd go to microfasteners.com and get a bag of stainless steel M5 locknuts. afaik that's what every 1:10 electric that isn't of losi or AE manufacture uses, and a bag of 100 of them from microfasteners is still going to be dirt cheap compared to a bag of 10 or 12 from an RC manufacturer

I went on lunch and picked up some RC1(Imex) nuts at the LHS. I need them this weekend... ordering online does not put me back on the road.

Even if my ESC might be fried.

4mm nylon nuts if anyone is interested BTW.

yeah thats what i tried before.. but it wasnt thck enough so t didnt allow enough spacing for the hex to clear the knuckle so it didnt spin, but i looked it up on buytraxxas.com, got the part number and ordered them off ebay
i have no idea what to put here...

A trick with the wheel nuts is to buy some non-flanged 4mm lock nuts and install them "backwards." I have been doing this for years on my vehicles, and it works great.

Most people don't realize that nylon locknuts loose their hold after being removed and installed 3 times. After the 3rd time, you need to replace the nut.

And like stated, they are 4mm (M4) not M5 in size.
