    Wheelie Bars ....Revisited

    Wheelie bars…revisited.

    Well I got a hold of the new Traxxas Quick-Disconnect wheelie bar for the E-revo and thought I would post some pics and answer questions for those who had them.

    Here ya go…

    Also while I’m at it…

    Before I bought the traxxax wheelie bar, I ordered a Spurrs wheelie bar.

    I had sent them an E-mail asking if this would fit onto the E-revo (its listed for the 2.5 & 3.3)
    Mark e-mailed me back that he was not sure, but was willing to refund my money, or rework the wheelie bar if it did not fit. Over the last week, I have received over 12 e-mails from him. His customer service is the BEST! I think the bar he sent me was a new design for the Revo PE . It fits awesome! The design is smart. It looks VERY durable. I have posted pictures here;

    If you want this go here;

    Tell Mark that Jarrad sent you so you know you get the one you need.

    Very nice! I got the Traxxas one and it did not seem to fit with the E Revo..... I could not get it to mount up. Looking at yours I cannot really see what the deal is. Since you got yours on I am happy knowing mine will fit now. I will screw with it tomorrow just looked it over really. Nice tire/wheel combo too. What adapters are you running?

    I ordered the phaltlines(tires) from here;
    https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...=ns&pn=HPI4731
    and when they arrived they came with 17mm adapters in the package! woohoo!

    The adapters are similar to these;

    BTW-- I'm using these for the Traxxas mount...

    I got the Traxxas one that came preassembled and got it from RC Boca. Its exactly like the one in your picture except different wheels and it was all together.

    yeah--that should do it. You need to take out the two of the screws holding the wing mount. Then clip the bar mount to it and put the replacement screws in to secure it in place. You will then be able to clip/unclip the rest of the bar to the mount. takes like 2 minutes.

    Okay thanks man. I will put it on tomorrow morning. Will be nice having it on. Maybe tomorrow I will have my "new" MM too so I can run hopefully without heat and thermal issues.......

    Ran it up and down the street a couple times on the highest setting and it works great! The only issue I see is that the little wheels on it will get chewed up quick. Better wheels may be in my near future.

    Noticed you took the rear bumper off for the traxxas wheelie bar.
    Possible to run the traxxas wheelie bar with the sway bar and rear bumper installed all at the same time?

    I only left it off for the pictures. With the bumper on, you can't see the mount at any angle with the camera. But yeah, everything installs w/o issue.
