    I got busted.

Soooo I was working from home today...and changed the gearing...

Before I went outside I took a spin in the livingroom & kitchen which is 'no-no'...

When my wife got home she busted me & I didn't know how until she showed me this:

Right when I uploaded these two pix on my laptop she discovered more 'evidence' in the kitchen....

    BUSTED!!!!

I am forbidden to run anything rc in the house anymore...started my revo in the house once. It was winter time and I didn't wanna go outside where it was below zero. Then she banned my electric stuff from running in the house after I got my rock crawler. She doesn't like cleaning tire tracks off of everything I guess.

When I was a teenager I used to store my WR250 in my bedroom because my sister knocked it over in the garage once and never told me about it. I don't know how long it was on its side before I found it. That was back in the days when the WR250 was a two stroker.

Yeah that's busted there. I had a set of marks next to the door, dang VXL has a very touchy low end throttle.

Hmmm.. I think I would not have gone along with that There are no laws against running RC vehicles unless you run on their property or create traffic issues.

As for disturbing the peace, in most counties that's only during certain hours, might check into that. Even a loud nitro RC isn't as many dbs as a leaf blower or weed-eater.

exactly. i would continue to run the rc's on your street no matter what the neighbors say. funny how things like this happen. like how some cities that basically exist because of a race track and the locals complain about the noise. people are being stupid. far as i know in a public park you cannot be forced to leave because of running rc vehicles. oh and saunders if ya really wanna annoy them do wha ti used to. when i had my malibu i would go to work at like 4 in the morning. no one complained though. even though it was loud.

i had a 88 ford ranger with a 5.0 ho and a 3" dynomax exhaust. my grandparents lived next door to parent house. i went school every morning at 7:30, and one christmas my own grandparent rapped a muffler and put it under the tree. how insulting

    Hey d,
If your runnin electric it shouldn't bother them too much and they can't keep you from runnin them. Call the police station and see if there is anything they can do. Nitro on the other hand....

now for the grandparents...tell them you want a complete BORLA exhaust system and then you'll put it on the truck

I remember one time (no not at band camp) when I was dremeling some tyres down on the kitchen table. I had put a sheet on the table to stop it getting covered in the rubber dust. Anyway I cleared up before anyone got home and I thought noone had noticed.

Anyway, a few days later, my mum says "Do you know what all this black dust is around the toaster"

    Busted!

I have epoxy in the garage. But then I have to dodge the jetski, kids bikes and power wheels jeep. Not much room left. Thats why I use the retention area behind the 'hood. Big, open and hardpack sand/clay. Everyone runs bikes and 4-wheelers back there too.

im not going to say much so please dont delete this thread. if you get the lipo battery for it, its so much fun in the house (and its probably the toughest rc ive ever had). but traxxas is my favorite company cause they have the best RCs EVER!!

Maybe we can all convince Traxxas to start making some micro cars. I would gladly buy Traxxas over the other guys.

    Stampede isn't 4wd...

It'd be nice but the re-tooling would cost a fortune...

yup, ive been tryin to convince traxxas to make a 1/36. waterproof would be nice and 4wd would be nicer. the one downfall on the micro DT is it uses c clips to keep the wheels on. if traxxas could use nuts to keep them on it would be fantastic.
