I see people running 3s's and stuff in their cars. I'm a nitro man and wondering if you have ever seen anyone with a 6S in their car or slash.

I've seen an E-Revo conversion with a 5s pack and it was unusable. That's a larger, heavier truck with less voltage, so I'd say it's a waste of money.

A 3s is honestly overkill for anything other than long straight speed runs, you can't really apply all that power without it flipping backwards.

3s is pretty crazy. There's no way to use half of the power on dirt. On pavement you have a chance but you may just flip it over like was stated above.

I just put a 3s in my SLash, at about 1/2 throttle the wind catches under the body and flips it.

Exactly...! I find myself running my wife's 7-cell NIMH more and more in the Slash and keeping the 3s 8000 in my Rustler...

Considering this, I also find myself running after a flipped car less and less...haha

Slash + VXL + 7-cells = much fun...

I run 2s in my race T4, and its not usable. 30mph wheelies, and never over 1/2 throttle during a race....kinda pointless to add power. I wouldnt even run 3s in a slash...waste of money.

It's nice to just touch the throttle though. Nothing better than smokin 3.3 revos on the pavement all day.
