    Please help me with my dilama.....

    Hello, I am new to this forum but not rc. I just bought a slash and am thinking about going lipo.

    Can I use this CHARGER to charge this BATTERY? Will it work out ok, and if so how long would it take to charge? I dont want to spend tons of money here, because i do have nimh packs but i would like to go lipo! Please help me!

    Wow, that would take a long time to charge. Estimating 5 to 5.5 hours.

    Shouldn't have to worry about any "Thermal Events" though

    That charger is for less than 2000Mah packs.
    You need a charger and a balancer if you go lipo.

    What tells you it can only do 2000 mah packs? I'm thinking of lipo as well.

    i use a triton jr. and balance the packs at the end of the day with a "blinky". I dont balance with every charge just at the end of the day.
