    Exclamation Slash Blew Up!!!



    JUST KIDDING!!

    I took her apart because i was sick of the open diff it felt like there was no grease at all in it!! and the same with my other traxxas cars when driving them in a turn one wheel loses grip the diff unloads and one tire spins up like crazy then your car slows way down instead of pushing you through the turn... So i got some badhorsie grease today and i thought i would give it a try...Here are the photos..Now the diff feels much better ...I think you may not have to use so much grease like i did because it's so sticky like glue REALY trust me......I did not fill mine all the way up...

    PHOTOS IN ORDER

    1=THE SLASH STRIP DOWN
    2=THE DIFF AND GREASE
    3=DIFF CLEANED WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR SPRAY
    4=PACKED DIFF WITH GREASE
    5=FINISHED NO MORE LOSE OPEN DIFF!!:tmb

    Its most likely not as thick as what he used so it will still be more likely to do a one wheel peel.

    Have you hit the track with that setup? Throw some heavier shock oil in the rear and that thing should be whippin' pretty hard

    Hi silicone won't work this grease is very tacky like taffy ! He that rimed!
    Yea just use a sharpie marker.

    Make sure that stuff wont leak out of the diff, its not a sealed diff. If it does it could get into the tranny gears and cause a lot of drag. Hope it works for you. My super thick grease leaked out of my diff and caused a lot of drag and made my motors run hot. Had to clean out my trans and re-lube. good luck.
