Slash Availability Thread - Where to Find em.

Hey everyone. I have been lurking around these forums for some time and decided to register tonight. Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread for people to post up where Slash's are if you find them to help people that are looking for them.

Anyways, I just ordered mine today and am soooo stoked. I will post pictures up when I get the truck. My plans are to put my Sidewinder 5700kv in it as soon as i get it for that little extra speed

Cant wait to get this truck.

Currently Slash's are available from www.rcboca.com I ordered mine last night and called them today to confirm that they have multiple in stock. So if your looking for them, now you know where they're at!!

these things are going fast thats for sure. happy i got mine yesterday from Boca... its kinda funny i had to get mine from the east coast shipped all the way to the west coast because all the west coast places are sold out!

Do not order them from RC Planet. I placed an order that I expected to ship today, as their status on Friday said in stock. Status today says in stock, but I called to see why it wasn't shipped. I was told it was on backorder and their policy is to not list new items as backordered because "people will expect to be put on backorder without being told so".

Yeah the HobbyTown's here order from Horizon.. for some reason Horizon doesn't have them yet and doesn't expect them until this Friday. I can't understand why the nation's largest distributor didn't get any for two weeks after one-off shops that ordered direct from Traxxas.

stopped by my LHS today and got to finally touch and feel the slash!! wow... they are so nice in person. they are also really big which is cool... much bigger than expected. anyways mine should be here tomorrow according to UPS so i just got to wait 24 more hours!! cant wait!

As of this afternoon, Ultimatehobbies says they have the Slash in stock, limited quantities. I placed my order, status shows, in stock. All we can do is hope for the best. I wonder which truck will arrive first, towerhobbies or ultimatehobbies. My tower order originated on May 20th, currently on backorder, still. Hmmmm.

Its really driving me up the wall that I can't find one within a 75 mile radius of my house. I have called every hobby shop and nothing... grumble grumble.

Oh well kinda over it now, probably just buy the chassis and throw my VXL stuff in it rather than trying to find the kit.
