Just got back from the track, Small review
I just got back with my slash today from the track and it is amazing. We have a smaller 1/10th scale track that is amazing with the slash.
The suspension is extremely soft, much softer than youd expect. This causes bottomouts on steep lips and landings if youre not smooth but that is not really an issue because it rides the rough stuff out. On the big track it handled the big jumps fine and took some wicked tumble with nothing to worry about.
The stock esc and motor are ok on small tracks but they really do leave a little power to be desired if you are used to brushless and lipo. the motor does how ever have plenty of punch and speed to keep most people happy.
The handling of the slash is what got me. The stock tires are a hard compound and when first seen in real life kind of gave me doubts but boy was I wrong. THIS THING KICKS. It has more turn in than just about any two wheel drive and is so forgiving out of the turn. I was full throttle way before I was straightening out and it just hooks up slides sideways a bit and takes off without spinning out.
Overall I think it is the best purchase I have ever made in the RC industry, boat loads of fun. I also had it out there with anotherone and it is so much fun to bump them together.

Stop it already! I'm going to go crazy if I have to hear one more good thing about the Slash before I get mine
Good review, what type of surface does that track have?

I had to go to Dallas to get it wrathchild. I have been sitting in austin waiting and I finally just couldnt take it.
Also guys the rear bumper seems to be the weak spot so far and the stock servo saver. The bumper has these two little ridges that fit on either side of the bottom of the tranny and they kind of bend out and pop off, not that big of a deal thoguh maybe a drop of CA on either side wold do the trick.
The servo saver did pop over a few times on me one or two clicks.
