Yea its lexan. Most other plastics would crack or shatter because they are not flexible enough. I'm not a nitro guy but I think you have to have the hole so the engine doesn't overheat. The hole helps the motor cool. The heat would be trapped under the body. And I think the slash body is too short for a tmaxx or revo.
He's talking about body mount holes... not the hole for the nitro cylinder head. Also, the Slash is about 22" long, the Platinum Edition Revo is also about 22", and the new T-Maxx 3.3 is about 21", and the Classic T-Maxx is about 19". The issue will be the wheels & tires rubbing the body over jumps, because the Slash body is much wider. I have an E-Maxx #3905 (about 20" long) and will test-fit the Slash body when I get it.
