    Foam

The Villain EX does have the foam inside...yes?

I mean if she flip, is she gonna sink?

I think it does, i remember coolecool saying that when it sinks it sinks to the foam line.

The Villain will not completely sink. The built-in flotation foam keeps the bow afloat so that you do not lose it. It sinks down to around the windshield with the bow sticking straight up out of the water.

Nah... I have had it happen numerous times. I just hop in my kayak and paddle out to get it. With my water proofed electronics, there really isn't much for me to worry about.

As I try more...and do more...I learn more.

The EX does not come with water prrof eclectric right? so, did you 'water proof' yours or did you buy them that way?

If you WP then yourself, did you do so by the suggestions you make on your thread about hop-ups?

Also...what part of the world do you live in? Might like to hook up some day and.....bash/boat/flip/paddle

The electronics in the EX aren't currently waterproof. Keep in mind that I have a Villain IV converted to EX power, so I don't have that radio box. I run a waterproof ESC (they're no longer made), and I waterproof my receiver and servo the way I suggest doing it in my hop-up and FAQ thread.

I boat on Lake Huron and Lake Michigan and sometimes Lake Superior.

I was thinking (not sure why) you were close to me in Florida somewhere.

    I see now.....not.

So I guess I should relax and stop worrying about fliping my EX. And throttle up

Nope, not even close to the sunshine state. I have been down there many times, but I just can't stand the heat and the humidity for long periods of time.

It does require getting used to. Conversely, I can not handle the cold anymore.

I noticed you did not encourage me to flip my boat.

well. open invitation to drop by anytime you are near. I am on the Space Coast and we have plenty of water. I'll bring some batteries and some 'sodas'.

Haha, yeah... I definitely wouldn't encourage someone to go out and flip their boat.
