    Updated list !

Here are the options that I use in my E-Maxx currently

I resolved the problem with my Futaba 3PM receiver ! I had connected in the wrong way the wire between the ESC and the receiver

I tested on-road my new setup it works perfectly ! No steering problem : no bzzz, no crrrr, no sriii : And in fact the body posts of the steering bellcrank prevent the chassis braces that I have dremeled from bending (I hope !).
With the FLM center driveshafts my E-Maxx makes a different noise more smooth And with the new thick shock oil, when I landed after a jump, there is also a different noise : bom rather than kling (noise of the ti skidplates which touch the ground ).
I'm waiting for the Gorillamaxx straps and the FLM 3906 center skid plate and I will be ready for bashing

    I will post an on-road video tomorrow (yes yes on-road ) !

Long life to Traxxas E-Maxx ! (yes I know mine is not very "stock"...).

Exactly ! I never encountered problems with the 3905 and 3906 stock diffs
Maybe I'm lucky because lots of people upgrade their diffs

I never had issues with the old tmaxx3.3 spec diffs, when I was running the hvmaxx 6.5 system- it just isnt that 'violent' towards the diffs. With the more powerful systems using neu motors and such, you soon start asking questions about diff upgrades... One plus to the hvmaxx- good speed without brutal power that kills the diffs.

glad to see that you dont encounter any probs with your diffs. but just like sui neil says, the hvmaxx is more tamed compared to those more powerful motors. i got to see that in your onroad video. but when its offroad, it seems plenty fast. keep up the great work.

    VIdeo ViDeO vIdEo viDEo

    New vid !!

The first bash session with my FLM E-Maxx It was great !!

    Vid : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=xP5DLXbs-bo.

Note : don't forget to click on the "regarder cette video en haute qualité" button below the vid to watch it in high definition

The FLM chassis handles well !! Despite all the crashes I bent nothing
And no problem with the chassis braces despite the dremel work ! Good investment finally

However the Gorillamaxx straps sucks, and the rear turnbuckles too (I break them both every session ). I'm going to buy the Traxxas option turnbuckles and stronger straps !

I live near Paris (~20 km), in a city surrounded with forests I took this vid in a moutain bike track that I found in a forest some months ago !

But my favorite place is the Fontainebleau forest (~100 km from my home). I can climb and run my E-Maxx there it's great

Salut beetlebiz, c'est sympa de voir un autre frenchie (on doit être 3-4 ici ), mais parle en anglais si tu peux sinon tu vas te faire engueuler (t'as un lien sur MMT ?).

Translation : welcome beetlebiz, it's great to see another French here (we are 3 or 4 on this forum ), but speak in English if you can because you are going to get into trouble (you have a link for your thread on MMT ?).

Im not sure the optional traxxas tubes will be much stronger than the stockers since they are aluminium, I would look into something from Lunsford maybe.

The gorillamaxx straps do suck abit yeah- you can buy more heavyduty items from ebay, look for velcro straps, or velcro brand straps.

Finally I bought the RPM True-Track system Thanks for the link though

For the straps I'm going to buy thicker backpack straps

Thanks Rnemhrd My E-Maxx is also a tree magnet but this is the trees which are afraid of my Maxx, not the contrary

    Custom-made straps !

You have a belt and an E-Maxx ? So you can do that :

    Before :

    After :

It was really easy to make these straps

Now it's time to meet new trees !!!!

    RPM True-Track !

I received the RPM True-Track system and the Integy rear bumpers (yes I said Integy ) !

Now I think I ended to upgrade my E-maxx (I know I said that often...), but there is another type of upgrade I have to do : lipo ! (for Christmas ).

Here is the ultimate option list for bashers (ANY TERRAIN. ANY CHALLENGE. MY TRUCK ):

It's time to buy new truck ? ...

Wow very nice bash site and jumps with good landings. I especially liked the part where you messed up a landing, tumbled a bit, and then it was straight onto another jump like nothing happened! haha good work.

And your option lists looks pretty similar to what I have installed on my truck, but 3906 spec. Works really well!

when you took the anodizing off, did you have to do any polishing with the dremel, or just let the parts soak?

Thanks anson The bash session of this weekend was cool too I "met a tree" and I broke a part of the steering bellcrank system. But of course I had a spare part

jkelly2900 : I just put the parts in the water to rinse them and I clean them with a rag. But if you remove the anodizing of a big part, you can sand it with a thin sandpaper (or appropriate dremel tip) and polish it to have a cool look

New Vid - Skate Park Session !!

My first Skate Park session : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb2t-WHFzGU

That was great There were lots of people who were amazed by the power of my truck and what it could do There were also "all pro" people who said to me that their RC cars (bought at Toys"R"Us) were as powerful as my E-Maxx

Watch the whole vid there is a nice jump at the end And you will notice some slides on the half-pipe

I just destroyed the front RPM skid/wear plate and one rear lower arm... I "encountered" a wall For a "concrete session" it's not bad

    ho-ju : Thanks

traxxas basher : thanks My 6-cell GP3300mAh batteries are the best Nimh batteries I know, they are powerful, durable and reliable. For bashing I get 25-30 minutes with one pair and 15 minutes for racing. But they are old now, I'm going to buy 2s lipo batteries

trxbeast193 : my shock setup is really appropriate for my driving style. I use the Traxxas big bore shocks with Mugen Shock Oil 600Cst (= ~50Wt) for rear and front. But obviously, with the jumps I try, whatever my shock setup, I'm obliged to bottom out. That's why I use an oil not too much thick and the RPM skid/wear plates with my titanium skidplates
