Installed.. it is a little to dark for any speed runs or tests tonight.. but I did a couple mins playing around and all seems good so far Just in time for some racing this weekend

This is by far and away the best tire setup I have ever had on ANY of my many rc's... they hook up like you couldn't believe! I will be running this combo for good.. tread holds up well and it doesn't matter what conditions.. any surface, these things are it.

I was thinking about a set of road tires for some speed runs (phlatlines) but that would be the only exception so I don't burn the tread too fast.

Ran for about 25 minutes today pretty hard and temps never broke 150 on the 1515 1.5d, and the mamba hoovered around 100 lipo's were maybe 82.
(22/58) This gearing should be for about 50MPH w/ the 4s 2s2p 8k setup, but it felt just a little under (no gps).

When are you try it on 6s? that should be pretty interesting . Temp on the mamba seems pretty good esp. considering use of internal bec.

So far it's great.. I did get some grass cought up in the fan.. stopped it, lucky for me I noticed it before it could burn it out LOL that will be something to watch for, as I'm not use to my revo sounding a bit like my PC does hehe

You'll never notice it unless you are on top of the car.. it isn't really annoying, just different Worth it for never having temp issues IMO.

I'd guess on my faster runs top speed was ~60MPH, technically I should be able to hit 70mph with mysetup if I could ever open it up all the way, but I need the phaltline tires for that, these badlands are truely awesome and my tire for life now.. but I'll have to snag a set of phaltlines for some high speed testing. I will GPS one of these days soon.

1y = 2200kv 1.5d= 2700kv

Stock emaxx gearing is 19/68 I think.. but the Neu and similar motors w/ the 5mm shaft need custom pinions anyway. Stock emaxx, and jato spurs all work perfect though.

on 6s what are your temps on that motor, its pushing 60 grand at full speed, in my e-revo my 1515/1y runs about 130 on a 85 degree day pushing it real hard on 4s, i was thinking about a 5s or 6s, im sure 6s will put the 1y into its sweet spot but im already having tranny problems on 4s and have my MM set to 100% punch control, if i lower it to 40% i break output shafts, i've had too replace all gear pins which much larger ones but have yet to strip a plastic gear. I want to go with the 3905 tranny but yet i have no 2s or 3s packs only 4s so i guess i'll upgrade the revo tranny till it can handle 6s

this is the last time im linking to stumblin's build. It's his and it's very very good. So good that I am infact trying to build the exact same car. Except that I have a 8xl and 9xl that I could use, and plan on going with the vantage CF chassis, which will be hard to dremel to fit the e-maxx tranny.
