EVX-2 w/ lipo?

...if i got lipos what exactly would i need to run them with the EVX-2??....i know a LVC and maybe a BEC but im not sure....someone help me....

PS. i would get 2 TrueRC 2S2P 8000 lipo....by the way i know i need a charger....just wondering what i need to run them without smoking the ESC or blowing up the lipos

First thing is make sure they fit the battery tray... then yes you will need a LVC on each battery, that's it other than the charger you know you need

With the high failure rate of the EVX2, I would not want to risk a pair of $$$ LiPo's. I would HIGHLY recommend getting either a Novak Super Duty XR for $89.99 or get a Mamba Max, or a MMM. Also installing a fuse should be mandatory with an expensive battery set up like you are looking at.
