    Question brushed upgraded motors?

So if I get the E-Revo and dont want to brushless right away, but want more speed, then what motors could I install to make it go faster? Like maybe a SV2 or something? But would the E-revo weigh to much and strain the motor till it burns out? If so, are their any motors that have more torque(and I mean brushed ones). Thanks

Kershaw Designs sells 700 and 970 (don't think the 970s are compatible, however) sized motors that work with the 3905 E-Maxx. These are brushed motors. Personally, I'd rather just put the money away for a new brushless sytem.

Got a link? I remember back when I had my E-Maxx there wasn't much available as a brushed motor upgrade, since the E-Maxx was one of the first to run a dual 550 can motor set-up. Most motors are (were) 540 sized. Brushless was just starting to take off for the first time. Trinity has some 550 can motors that came out as an upgrade, but if I remember right, they ate brushes really fast and the comms wore out too. Here they are -

For the money, at $44 each, you have a good start on a reasonably priced brushless system.

The Revolver motors seem interesting, but I wonder about the weight of them vs. the stock motors. Clearly they're going to be heavier, but I'm not sure by how much.
