When playing some of my computer games my Geforce 6200 gets up to 150 (f) is that to hot?
What program do you use? Most of the ones I use measure in C. My 8800GT is 143F at idle (Crappy case) Or 62C. And a max of 76C or 168F. I think your card should be ok.Originally Posted by hmmb4444

I use NVIDIA Monitor.
My Nvidia 8600GT idles at 57C (135F). I have a case that keeps everything really cool though.

Likewise, I wouldn't worry about it. At least with the 8-series card, the maximum acceptable is well above water boiling - 100-127C depending on model if I'm not mistaken. My 8800GT has the reference cooler, and in a Cooler Master 690 with 6 140mm fans, it still idles at ~43C.
