Noobish Battery Question Regarding The E-Revo

Before I state my embarassingly noobish question about the batteries, I just want to let everyone know that I have never owned an emaxx so I am not used to using 2 battery packs in the same vehicle.

I am planning to get the E-revo and since I am running a rustler right now I am used to only using one battery pack. I just got rid of some really crappy battery packs about 2 months ago and purchased 2 EP packs. One is an EP 6 cell 4600 mah pack, and the other is an EP 7 cell 4600 mah pack. When I get an E-revo i will not be buying 2 of the same battery packs for a while.
-Here is my question: In the E-revo, if I use one 7 cell pack and one 6 cell pack together, even though there is a difference of voltage in the 2 packs, does the ESC divide up that voltage and evenly distribute the same amount of voltage to each motor so that they are both spinning at the same speed/rate?

    Thanx

I am pretty sure the motors would go at different speeds since they are wired in a parallel.

    run identical batts...

its far better for batts and truck....

and im thinking one batt powers each motor...soo the motors would run at diff speeds due to diff voltages...and thus would destroy ur spur everytime u ran...
we can rebuild it, we can make it faster, stronger

ya that's probably what i'm going to have to do. i need some more batteries anyway. i'll probably just order one more of each (one EP 6 cell and one EP 7 cell). i should be getting them by next week then. i probably won't be getting a revo until august or september tho.

-also i thought about it, and if one motor is spinning at a higher rate, then it may put strain on the other motor and increase temps on that motor plus the battery; and the motor that is moving slower could be putting strain on the other motor that is moving faster therefore increasing temps on that motor and that battery

buy a single cell and rebuild your pack

i would think the emaxx: batts to the esc. then from the esc. the volts would be distubited evenly

kahn so your saying the ecs is practicaly 2 escs.?

Both motors see the same voltage since the batteries are connected in series. I've never tried it, but I don't see any reason you couldn't use a 6 and a 7 cell pack together as long as the packs are the same age (or at least pretty close) and same cell type.

the consensus on the maxx forum was evx-2 runs in series so different volt are fine run the 6 cell on the BEC side plug (the plug that if you put a battery in the esc turns on) and 7 cell on other for 15.6v

to behonest i was guessing...i have never prodded around inside the evx2 with amuliti meter to see where all the volts go...i was basing the assumption on the fact that only one batt poweres the bec...
