Got mine about a month an a half ago, lots of fun. I just broke the front driver side shock cap so I ordered ProLine Power Stroke Shocks last night. The large gravel here is quite harsh on it.

I've gotten it to be somewhat to scale of a desert trophy truck. With the proline dual rates in back it has more travel and can run a little bit softer. For the front, I used the back shocks (because their alot longer), with a softer shock oil, to also give more travel. Cut the bumper and made an aluminum skid plate. Anymore ideas you guys could throw in about making this thing more scaled desert truck are more than welcome. Oh also, the fenders were bustin up so I cut em off.

SLUSH RUN!
Ran in a creek in my yard, had a cold half frozen creek with a layer of slush on it in some places, fun with the waterproof electroics

lol first day with brushless

The shock just popped open after I hit my brothers EXT, drove right over the front wheel and did a full roll before landing on all 4 and limping back. Put it back together and had more fun

This system is fun with my little 1800MAh NiCd, hope to see this thing in action with a 2s or 3s LiPo soon

Baja Bug Slash:

This is a MacPherson Strut front suspension conversion that I did as a project while in college. It handled like crap and the suspension travel was basically nothing but I expected this going in. It was more of a fun exercise to illustrate some points about suspension design:

Update to mine; I added ProLine shocks, the ProLine ProTrac suspensioin, Split Six wheels with Traxxas Khumo tires, Lundsford titanium hinge pins, Slash 4x4 rear driveshafts, ProLine rear skid, RPM front skid.

I have a GH aluminum gearbox comming to act like a heat sink as the ambiant summer air temp will be 130-140. I also have an RPM rear bumper comming. It's used mostly for bashing since there is no smooth ground in this place. Once I go back to Germany I might look for a track to race it on. Oh, it only has the Titan motor for now, i'm working up the courage to drop the money for the VXL motor and some LiPos. lol

Just got a new Slash 4X4 and Rustler for me and my son. 1st RC trucks and loving them! Hopped 'em up a bit. Working on a custom body with a Simpsons theme.
