Used LRP Vario Sapphire (green/purple color change effect).. came out surprisingly well. The changing effect doesn't come across well on camera with the light I got currently, but depending on your point of view, it ranges from an intense metallic green to a deep metallic purple/blue. Since it was a quick and ugly paint job, I got some overspray and paint leaking on the silver part and window edges.
Body is a ProLine Desert Rat, unfortunately I noticed too late that the holes are too close to the edge on the front, so I had to cut the body savers some and glue them.. turned out a little ugly and annoyed me.
The whole back and some of the front is strengthened with drywall tape in a layer of shoe goo, the roof, sides and hood are mostly strengthened with fiberglass sticky tape.



Accidently had one pic twice.
The paint was from a LHS, LRP Magic Color Vario.

Finally managed to get a shot (with flash) of an area where it shows both possible colors next to each other, intensity of the blue is even more when looked at from above.

Maybe a mod could copy the postings together? I'd have edited, but I couldn't anymore because too much time passed.

Well here's just a simple shot of mine and my cousins Slash. I'm putting this up here for him. After months and months of bugging me to get back into this hobby it worked and we both bought Slash's. And we've been having a blast bashing. Here's to you Joe! How come when I save pic as 640x480 it is always smaller on here?
