My Slash
(VXL)
(AKA 17mm adapters)
(New Rpm arms not installed though yet)
(Duratrax 4600mah 8.4v)(I get like 30-40 min runtime with nice full speed run outs on my street)
(Imex 1/8 tires with carbon fiber design)
(The only other thing I will do is probably big bore shocks and maybe traxxas alum caster blocks)
(23/86)
(goes about low 40-44mph which is fast for something this size)
(does wheelies without lipo)
(No need for lipo which would then= no control)

Its so much fun

I got the new body in and painted yesteday. Although it wasn't a perfect paint job, it was my first and I am happy with how it turned out.

My work in progress... Still gotta do the sides and finish the back. 1st time painting one of these in 17 years.

I had a guy make the Masking for me, the only decals are the JConcepts lettering, Lights Grill and the Gold Trim.

Pic is from my phone, I will def take better pics once im finished with it.

Body sits flatter now, aerial was pushing up on the shell. Rear wheels on back-order!

Well I put a 1:8 ESC/motor combo in my Slash running on 4S (!), and the wheels were ballooing so much they were destroying the body (even with rear shocks raised).... so it was time to try a bug body with its better wheel clearance. This is the first body I have ever painted, so not very adventurous... but I am happy with it :-)

Here is my slash. Running a waterproof vxl setup. Just put on a set of new hpi blitz tires/wheels. Also did some body dremeling.
