to get the screws out, either get some screw outs (sears sells them) or just get some JB-Weld and a couple of old junk allen wrenches and JB-Weld them to the stripped screws...or use some super glue and glue the allen wrench to the stripped screw, when screw is out remove the dried glue from the allen wrench and repeat process again until all stripped screws are removed...replace stripped screws with new ones and buy yourself a quality set of allen wrenches...that way they will have a more precise fit in the screws and prevent stripping of the screws...

I just use a dremmel and file a nice slit, then use a flathead to unscrew them. I've had a crap load of stripped screw on mine. I bought it used form a buddy who bought it from another buddy of ours, so i know the accidents in been in, and how many times its been played with .I am going to buy steel hardware for it. key to not stripping them is A)have the right size hex. B)make sure you screw and unscrew them properly, meaning make sure the allen is in flush, make nice roations, so that the allen isn't carving into the hex on the screw. Basic everyone knows. However, i've been known to rush it and mess some up myself.

Thats what I was doing! But before I knew it, it was stripped and nothing I tried would get it loose. I think its because the new bulk head and threading the holes, it was just tight enough that i wouldn't budge! I have tried gluing and prying, I didn't even think about the dremel idea to use a flat head screw driver!!! Do you think that the CA tire glue will work to bond the allen wrench to screw?? Thats all I have right now, and so far I think i have been just too impatient to let it bond good. If it don't work then I will have to try the dremel idea as soon as I get home!!! right now I am working all night

    thanks for the helpful ideas!!!
