    Mounting 12 cells in Slash?

So I'm working on a track for my slash. I don't have the money for LiPo but wanted to use 12 cells for it. Now how should I mount it with 12 cells but so it still gives it decent balence and handling?

Of course this is just a thought as it's not even released yet.

Maybe if the battery Vxl expansion kit works for the Slash(50/50 chance), you could have them either sideways or on top of one another.

Presumably you'll be using a MM. Because the stock ESC can only handle 8. Best place to put the two packs would be on either side of the battery tray. Like with an EMaxx.

ZBall's idea is a good one actually.

I think that will be alot of weight. It doesn't have the suspension of an e-maxx. This is all speculation though as no one has one yet to verify. It's going to be a blast though that's for sure. I can't wait!

Hmm. I know from experiance that the 4 progressive springs are going to struggle big time to support 12NiMH cells. I would just get good quality 7cell packs.
