yes you need to use the glow igniter while pulling on the pull start...depending on how good your tune is it should defiantly start up within 10 pulls...

It wont start because the tune is way off. If your motor has a good tune, a pull start should start a motor in less than 5 pulls. All of my motors start in 5 or less pulls.

when its tuned good it'll start up easy, it will help to prime it but when it locks up and gets really hard remove the glow plug and de-flood it

remove the return line from the exhaust pipe and blow in it, it pushes fuel into the carb, anything else doesnt work good with the pullstart.

if it is warm it will start in 1 to 3 pulls, when it is cold, whell that is different, it takes a wile but with a good tune you should get it in less than a minute. I have a dynamite "c" size igniter.

I have the dynamite D-cell battery (not rechargable) and it worksa good, I ditched the rechargable becaise it was a 1300 mah battery and the plastic meter broke on the top, so its $15 more for a weaker case and worse battery. glad you got your jato running I should play with mine tommorow.

I had a rechargeable one but it didn't work right so I got a non-rechargable one, the batterys don't need to be changed that much.

Whell for the non rechargable ones you just go to wal mart or costco (my favorite, they are cheep) and just get a size "c" or a size "d" battery. The rechargable ones should come with a battery if not your lhs will have them propbilly.
