    Please Help Me!!!

I just RPM rear A arms. How do I get the battery rear bumper off? Do I have to remove the trany! Cause I see the screw on the inside and how do I get to it?

You gotta take the diff cover off. But first remove your shock tower. Two screws on the bottom of the chassis and then the four or six holding the diff cover on.

Do I have to fill the diff up with fluid? I took the whole rear half of the car off(trans and arms)

The gear inside the cover is the diff. You shouldn't even half to crack it open but that gear didvides into two when you take the 4 screws out and thats where the diff fluid goes. It's supposed to be dry behind the cover though. Just clean all the dirt and crud out and pop the diff back into place once you get the a arms in place. Look at this and see how the diff comes apart and how you have to put everything back together.... http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...xpld-trans.pdf

I took the 4longand 4 short screws out of the bottom. Disconnected the brake link and removed it that way. So the open part at the bottom doesn't need oil or fluid?

nope. Just if you open that gear up you gotta replace it. Do you see how to open the diff? Don't, but that's about the only spot fluid goes other then in your shocks!

So the open part in the bottom of the diff/trans when turned upside down where it bolt to the chassic does not get no oil in it. Only oil it when disassembling the case Right?

No oil at all except if you take the diff gear apart. You can if you want but they come with a sticker that says not too. Especially in the trans where you adjust the shift points. No oil there!!!!!!!!! It attracts dirt and sand and can wear your parts out alot quicker. Just reassemble and your done!

ok, I was going to make this a single post and get a adress and give you the link but I just made this to help people.

let me take off the wing and wheelie bar to help you see how it would be with a stock jato

remove theese screws off the chassis

and theese screws off the tranny/diff cover

(there is dog hair all over my car, you can see one on the diff cover)
    pull

    all done

then you can get to your diff, a-arm pins, exc.

I like it, people say that they don't transfer heat but the engine runs hot with it, I don't think so. But it is pretty light compared to the stock one.

Because JatoedCooger said "dang speed you are the man when it comes to directions.......lol......." and I desided that if they wanted to post it in later threds they could.

yea, go for it, it is nice and it looks good. Imo it doesn't put your temps high at all. people with revos put them on and they seem like they like them. I don't like the vantage cf one because it has the built in mud gards.
