But buyer beware. .. integy site sent my left snow wheel...damaged on arrival.... lucky not too severe... with shoe goo, a tye strap, and luck... I have been able to save the snow wheel.. oh the snow wheel is plastic... bashing not recommended... haven't tried.... but I don't think that the snow wheels can handle it.

    My 2 VXL Stampedes

The blue one started life as an XL-5 and was quickly upgraded to VXL.

We should have a Northern VA (DMV) Stampede/traxxas meet up once spring hits. I am of the opinion that it would be awesome to have a race day of pedes only. And I mean a real race day.

Can you post some pictures with the body off? I love seeing the details put in building their trucks as well as the outside, but the inside is the coolest IMHO. I see alot of goodies that look nice to me. Such as the shock spacers where mounted to the shock towers are red, where did you get those? I think I see a touch of graphite.

New to the stampede forums. I usually hang out in the telluride area. Just picked up a couple 2wd stampedes so I thought I'd post them up.
The blue vxl is brand new, just got it and opened it today, still has that new car smell. The silver one is an older model I bought off ebay a couple days ago, I updated it with an xl-5 esc, titan 12t motor, turnbuckles, maxx 2.8 tires, 2056 servo and the newer shocks off my telluride. Eventually it'll be brushless and have the new 2.4ghz radio too.

I have to admit, the 2wd stampedes are really fun to drive. Thought about getting a 4wd but figured my telluride was pretty much a 4wd stampede anyway.

I tried it out. Telluride body on vxl stampede. It would probably work with the correct mounts. The wheel wells seem to line up and it's wide enough.

Thanks! Looks good! Too bad the bodies are pricey on eBay.
