Nice pics you guys, some of your cars have incredible mods!

I bought this Bandit back in 1997, this is it in "car park" trim. I run minipins when running on AstroTurf tracks.

The electronics are vintage too:

In terms of mods, I've forgotten some things over the years, but here is what I can remember:

* Ball races all round.
* 4WD buggy wheels from Ansmann. Had to drill these bigger myself so they would fit. (I just hated the non-standard sized Bandit front wheels)
* Rustler front axels to be able to screw on the non-stop wheels. (Bandit ones too short)
* Non-Traxxas springs cannot remember what, but much softer. (I found the stock ones absolutely useless on bumpy tracks)
* Turnbuckles all round.
* Steel Drive Yoke Set.
* Coralliy Street Touring Motor, 16 turn Double.

hey fellas i am new to the rc hobby. i went big for the first car i got the rustler vxl. ive had some big problems. i had it for one day 5 minutes after running it broke the whole front end... i got it back together. but can some people help me with what i need to upgrade in the front end only. the parts an whats best for it. as in racing an bashing things. love to have fun. an also can some people also help me with the battery catagory to.. i would really appriciate the help. thanks guys
