Thought I'd share some updated pics of my Rusty, just got done rebuilding+fixing+cleaning finally from playing in the sand all New Years weekend. Got a new body, also added RPM suspension arms, aluminum castor blocks & STRC aluminum bellcrank.




My favorite LiPo battery atm, 2S 7.4v 6000mAh 30c


My now designated bashing body haha, changed the decals and cut some holes in the body for the ESC since last post. Can't be seen but it also has some newly added fire damage



New body with decals and some simple silver paint. Did a better job cutting over the ESC this time too.

Here's my Rustler restoration project. It's the old pre-XL5 model, I got it as a pile of parts in a trade about a year ago. I added a VXL system, a Proline Desert Rat lid, a homemade "Swami" wheelie bar that quickly became a skid plate, and a few RPM goodies, but it's mostly stock. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Tires shown are either Proline Road Rage II on Agitator wheels, some unknown knobby tires on Proline Agitator wheels, Proline Switch SC tires on Epic beadlock 2.2 wheels, or the stock Monster Jam stampede tires.

Here's mine. I grew bored with the unrealistic "tires outside the body" look of the rustler body so I made up a baja bug body to make it look a bit more realistic. Started out as an xl5 but have upgraded to VXL (as well as upgrading all the electronics to waterproof stuff) and done the protrac kit.

Got most of my parts in today and installed. I think it looks nice.





It's an offroad basher, not worried about top speed. We have long grass here so I raised the suspension.
