Traxxas Slash 1/10 2wd VXL converted to Low Center of Gravity chassis using STRC's new kit on a new Rustler chassis, killer handling, way outperforms a 2wd Slash chassis as the battery sits much lower, then added Pro-Line's ProTrac suspension long arm suspension system. great performance with VXL 3500kv brushless motor and waterproof ESC.

Here's some pics of my Rustler.

It started as a brand new XL-5 about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've added the stuff below.

Castle Creations Sidewinder v2 / 4600kV Combo
Ball Bearings on all 4 corners.
RPM Front Bumper
RPM Rear Shock Tower (broke stock one day I got the castle setup)

More to come, as I break stuff I plan to replace it with RPM and some aluminum stuff...I figured it was a waste to replace stuff I hadn't broken yet

I decided to flip my batteries so I cut the back of the battery tray to accommodate the wires, it's still kind of rough as I just did it last night, but I plan to smooth it all out.

Had to get my son his first brushless. It is the one on top. He fell in love with mine,bottom, and quit running his nitros'. So I put RPM all around and every where I could think and gave him one of my 3s 5400 venom packs! The only reason I buy fuel now is my planes!!

Hey guys, nice cars! keep them coming! My previous account was Rustykid but i couldn't access that account, so i'm back with my car running again! This was taken today, and the front tires are Road Hawg 2's that i had to custom mount to the traxxas 5 spoke wheels. Shes a Mamba 5700 on ENER-G 7 cell 4200mah packs. Started out XL-5 and ended Mambafied :P

The little 11 yr old sloppy one here lost his battery holder. I was looking for stuff to make one myself for him. Proud of the result, I may decide to keep it myself or sell it to him!

Materials used: a left over piece of a doorstep and traxxas packing material.

rustler vxl, after i cut the body because the talon tires kept hitting the body up front. i mounted the body to the pin in the front. the car is definitely waterproof, i was doing some mudding. this cars awesome

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? So far I just have the RPM front bumper, and JACO Foam wheels. I dyed the rims black. Might switch the rims to an RPM wheel so I can dye em lime green. and then goin RPM plastic throughout, with the VELL. MOTOR AND ESC. The XL-5 is just too slow... lol. its what i could afford at the time....

Just some of the bodies I've painted. figured I'd try the LAMBO body, cuz it was on sale for $11. wanted to go with an ANARCHY theme. The white body is the same as the red yellow n black body, used some dot 4 brake fluid to strip the paint but it clouded the body, so I had to go with white... oh well.. hope you guys like, I'll be doing a Repsol Rustler body sometime soon, and a Subaru body, we'll see how they turn out.. LATER!

This was my latest theme body for my Rustler VXL. Soccer themed car with realistic flames. This is my third body that I've painted.

This was my first body I painted (standard Rustler body)

This was my second attempt (HIP Chevy Silverado). Themed for our local high school.

My last body was actually for my Stampede 4x4 and was a Music themed Volkswagen Bug for my daughter.
