Yeah pictures!!!! haha here are my brother's rustys. One is completely aluminum and the other is halfway and we flipped the tranny around so it handles a lot better. Great trucks.

Bought in 2004, not running today because of broken 2015 bec receiver, just ordered a new one. Stock, 3900 Orion Rocket NiMh
The controller tire thing; i was bored and took an extra front tire and stuck it on there instead of the foam one.
Result; better traction with my fingers increasing turn speed

Here are my two Rustlers:

FrankenRustler - HBX Max Buggy Body and wheels, Bandit chassis with Rustler front end parts and Trinity P2K2 Pro brushed motor.



I don't like the "rainbow" body from the XL-1 Rustlers, but I couldn't strip the old paint off so I just painted the outer shell with Fusion and used leftover decals from other projects along with stripped/dyed wheels. (Yes, I know it won't last, but it will do for now.) Currently waiting for a cheapo EZRun brushless combo.

One time My dad accidentily ran over my Stampede body. Just the body luckily but the side was bent out of shape, not as bent as your Rustler's but bent pretty badly.

Razer, R/C Guy, Misbehavin'.....dudes. How are ya?

It's been several years since I've posted, but have been looking at my truck a bit more lately. Thinking of getting back to a track this next spring with my medical conditions keeping me from any off-roading in my Jeep.

Here are some pics of my "now legacy" Bandit/Stampede conversion. As a Bandit, it was featured as "The Other Ultimate Bandit" on Jang's website several years ago. Basically, it's a Rustler, now....with the Seb wide conversion Losi front A-arms, can't remember what brand I used for the rear shock tower, but it's not stock. Front shock mount was fabricated by me to allow 8 different shock positions (can be turned it upside down, if necessary). Battery strap....fabricated by me. The front body mount isn't stock, either. There were other things I did that I just can't remember at the time. It was fun while I was into it at the time. Now that I'm looking around, I can see the R/C world has blown by me and left me in the dust. I'll still try to play around at the track with my 14 turn Orbital. LOL!

Some of you may remember me and the truck......I still need to convert my old Powerpole connectors to Deans on some of the practice batteries. Until then, I just use a jumper with a Powerpole on one end and a Deans on the other. So ignore that part of the pics. LOL!
