Many say no...it'll make no difference if they're on or off!! Some say they only make a difference if you run strictly on-road, they believe they do make a difference. I think it's completely up to you, what you think and if you believe the stability of the truck changes when you take them off.

I have RPM A-arms, front and back and I put my sway arms back on and mounted them with zip-ties and a little piece of double-stick tape underneath the zip-tie on the arm, to keep the tie from sliding around.

You can't drill any type of hole in the a-arm for a mounting screw if you want RPM to back them up with a warranty if they happen to break.

But again, it's completely up to you.

If you run on road you need the sway bars or you'll flip if you turn at more than 5 - 10 mph, for off road you don't need them, I've seen people use zip ties to attach them to the rpm arms but I don't know if that work since I never tried it

i drilled mine in the front/back. the front ones broke where i drilled. keep in mind i hit a crane in mid air!!! curbs, walls, parked cars etc.....they held up pretty well. warranty really didnt matter much to me. shipping price/time doesnt seem worth it unless i could trade em in @ my lhs

I don't see why every one thinks that the swey bars help you on-road, why do you people say it will flip? I allways run my jato with out the swey bars on and I don't flip unless I go to wheelie with the stock wheelie bar on. You can keep them on by zip tieing them on but I wouldn't do it because I don't notice any difference with them on or with them off.

in the grand scheme of life if you need the sway bars to run onroad u prolli only think they help in reality not too much to make a difference or you need to slow the heck down when you turn.

I run on road raceing and off road bashing and no swey bars are ok. The 2.5 doesn't have swey bars and I don't think they flip any more than they should do

if you want your jato to work closer to the way it did with sway bars after you remove then, you may want to use a little thicher shock oil.

There was a way I saw on here about how to zip tie them. You might want to search that.
