Yeah, I'm not quite sure what you're asking here, if it's just using wider tires, then yes, it's possible as that's a Rustler! If you're talking using Maxx/Revo sized tires, again it's possible. You'd need to extend the a-arms, mount 12 to 14mm hexes and use Maxx wheels with a good offset for clearance, and then choose the tires you want. Oh yeah, you'd also need a good brushless system geared low to get enough power while still preventing overheating issues.

You could, but you have to get the front wheels all the way around, the standard Rusty/Pede rears hit the chassis.

I'd imagine that 4 Rustler fronts would make it slightly narrow? Better off to get Rustler front and rear A-arms (RPM's) and Stampede front and rear wheels, Then you would have the truggy look.

then it would be a rustler wouldnt it apart from the body, i thought that a truggy was a buggy chassis with a truck bodyshell and bigger wheels ?

Well yeah it'd basicly be a Rustler with a Bandit body, Truggys have the same size wheels all 'round but larger than stadium trucks is my thinking which is why I'd suggest the 'pede wheels.

    Some examples of truggys,

i am thinking of getting just the XL-5 bandt wheels and then the new X:-5 body sheel then finding some way to put LEDS under the chassis

no...but......putting lagrer wheels on a bandit just make it a rusty....

the easier way to go would be a lowered pede and then skinnier 1/8 rally cross wheels.......

Yep. Not sure where you're at with this project, but if you've gone with Rustler length front and rear a-arms, then get front and rear wheels. Otherwise, go with fronts all around (although the offset from front to rear will be different).

For tires, since you're looking for a truggy look, I'd go with bowties (get the 2.2 sized ones).

Go with the nitro rustler front end.
it uses the same A-arms as the bandit.
This gives you upgrade options that you don't have W/the electric fronts.
The big change is that you upgrade to solid axles
I got everything I needed except bearings & control arms on ebay

    Everything=
C- hubs, axle carriers, axles. $10.00
    Front Wheels/tires & front A-arms(4). $21.00
    shipping included

anyway it's kinda late( first post 6/8) but hope this helps
