Mines the same way. Correct me if I'm wrong but the wheel is supposed to turn kinda easily until the piston approaches top dead center.then it gets a little harder until it 'rolls over' Then the wheel frees up and is easy again.
that is completeliy normal for it to be hard to turn when the piston gets to tdc it mean that the engine has life in it and if you can turn the engine a full 360 degrees you need to resleave it or get a new engine
no replacement for displacement
Or another neat trick to tell if your engine has life in it it is when your engine is off of the truck, hold it in the air by the flywheel (dont drop it!! =P ) and turn it so that the cooling head is somewhere around the 3 o'clock range (if you use a clock as a reference for this example) with the piston at tdc. The engine should stay at 3 o'clock and be able to support itself if there is enough pinch left to it. However, if it just falls down to say 6 o' clock or so then you know your engine is toast, or just about toast.
Sorry I know that's not the clearest explanation but I tried my best![]()
