    wanted yalls oppinion :)

Ok I am about to buy 4 batteries and wondered which one

    http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...3&I=LXMJG0&P=K
    or

    http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...3&I=LXLZK6&P=K

you would choose based on battery durability (like not frying sooner than supposed to), speed, runtimes, and price.

    Thank you so much!

I'd say the 3900's because GP's seem to be more reliable cells.

I like IBs, they seem to have a longer and better punch than the GPs do.

I have heard good things about both batteries. If I were you, I would get two of each kind!

I like IB's, but mine are zapped, matched and can not be compared to a stick pack. I have gp3300 stick packs that still plug along just fine too. You really can't go wrong either way, but since they are unmatched cells the GP's may holdup a bit better.

Basicallly I was wanting to get batteries that provided pleant of punch but were durable. I will probably go with 4 GPs

    I worded that wrong...

Being that the packs he linked too are unmatched the GP's might be the better choice.

As much of an IB fan as I am (and I am a total ib4200 fanman) I've read the bad stories about them venting. Mine have been spectacular, but again they are zapped and matched, which probably helps a bit.

The GP's have a better history of durablilty.

Zapping is a cell preperation process that assists in bringing out the optimal power capabilities of a cell.

Matching is a pack assembly process that is done after zapping and measuring the cells. after you zap the cells you measure their voltage outputs and assemble the packs from cells with the same or VERY close (2-3 thousandths of a volt difference) into the pack.
