    Cool B-day Upgrade time

    B-day Upgrade time

Where can I get cheap some gp's at for around $30 tower looks to be out is gp going stop making 3300 alot of them say discontinued? Has anyone ever used one of those Ofna heavy Duty servo saver on the 2055. I ordered one last night I hope its better then the stock one. I keep killing my 2055 the whole shaft is lose I need to stop hitting the curb i mean the curb needs to stop jumping out lol. Anyone know some good up-grades for power and speed with out going brushless or broke. I was looking at 650s on ebay but don't know. One last ? how important is cleaning the 550s I have never done so, had my truck for a year and drive it a lot. probly 25-35 sets a week. My truck is mostly stock just have a little bling, stiffer springs, cvd's, body ect.

No affiance to t-maxx I just had to get decal lol

you can get some IB 3800's for about $35ish on tower. I bought one and it works well. But the wires are a little on the short side.
My maxx is wider then yours!

With those tires, I'm not surprised your 2055 is having problems, you should get a stronger servo like the Hitec 645MG.....
    It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

If you want more power without going brushless, go to 750 sized motors. They make huge torque and if you shop around on the net you can find them in several configurations. I run KD 775's that are 21 turn, but I bought a pair of the 750's from a Kirby vacum dealer for $15 each! The Kirby-sourced motors are a higher wind and don't rev as high as the KD775's, but still make more than double the torque of the titans. You will need new pinion gears to fit the larger pinions on the motors.

bashin Maxxer15-Would smaller tires/rims give me more speed. I have stock tires and rim that came off my Hpi savage 25 that should fit my maxx and should be close to stock maxx size. I got those Big tires when i got my truck off e-bay, and i never ran anything else on the maxx. hmmm

1bigemaxx- Will the kirby motors give me more speed to, and will thay fit the stock motor plate as-is ? $15 sounds like a great price.

no you have to drill the motor plate or make your own. they could be faster with 7 cells and a tall gearing because of all the torque

That's right these type of motors can be geared way way high compared to the titans or an HV system.

Smaller tires will give you more acceleration. You will lose some top end but I dont think it will be noticeable with those MONSTER tires you are running.

Those tires are taxing everything in your driveline and your batteries as well. Definately gonna toast all low torque steering servo's you run with that set up.

You can probably find some stock E-Maxx tires & wheels for under $20. The Savage wheels & tires should fit too I think. Let us know how it goes.
