hi just ordered some road rages for my jato 2.5 will there fit cause the road rages are 2.2 ?

You need 2.2" rims, they'll fit with no problem.

No, All Star wheels are 2.8"

They are a direct fit if you use the rear wheels for a nitro Rustler.

you can make some cutting, but the result can be an unbalanced tire and more ballooning, I've also seen them in pictures but never in real life.

I Ordered Road Rages And Im Putting Them On 2.8 Stars. Im Gonna Stretch Them Over. If They Come In Today Im Gonna Mount Them And I Will Post Pics.

my rear tires on my ajto are 2.8" rims with 2.2" tires. i just cut the centre out untill they were the right size to fit.
if you do cut your tires, then don't try to cut it all at once. take a bit of tire off, see if it fits, then take a bit more off untill it fits properly.

they dont fit really well, but i havent had any problems with the tire breaking loose yet, been on there for about 1.5 gallons.

I Put The Foams On The Rim First Then Stretched The Tire Over. Thats Not The Hard Part, The Hard Part Is Getting The Bead Right To Have No Tire Wobble.before You Glue Mount Them On The Car And Turn Them To See How True They Are And Adjust As Needed Then Glue.

His are still brand new never used yet.. lol...
But what you can do is spray WD-40 all over....Traxxas owner since 6/02 and back in the game!

I noticed that with those tires streached like that, that they look like a low profile tire. Also with them streached like that it should help with ballooning. Hope you taped the first. Looks nice

Yea Not Used Yet Thats Why They Are So Clean, I Double Taped Them And Im Hoping They Do Not Balloon Much. Im Hoping To Run Them Friday So I Will Be Updating You Guys On How They Do.

update!!! just got thru running new road rage tires on 2.8 rims. tires did good on wot with little ballooning or seperation of tire from rim. only problem was still getting traction ( spinning) , temp outside is about 75 today so im hoping when temps go up traction will get better.
