    broke the shock cap

    i was jumping my truck and the shock cap broke off. how much is the cheapest replacement or new shock???/

    I broke a few stock plastic ones before upgrading to the aluminum. Install them with teflon tape and you'll never break em again. You'll still bend shock shafts but that's another story....$13 for 4 caps from Tower, a good investment to keep your Pede lightweight and to save money from going to full-on big-bores which are $50.

    I have heard that little hose clamps will help to strengthen stock caps, but Big Bore caps are probably a better choice.
