i have about 8 tanks through my new replacement engine, its a 3.3 , i can get it to run great but the temp is over 250, when i get the temp down, it runs poorly, is my lsn set to lean, and if i richen it ,then do i lean the hsn ?

Hey REVO6969,
How much over 250? Traxxas recommends 220 - 270. However, to adjust your LSN follow these steps:

T-Maxx, NRustler, Ofna MBX, Ofna HyperST
a lean low speed needle will most definitly cause high temps.
richen the low speed and kick up the idle a bit and then see if it gets better.
Timjs, I'll Give It A Try, I Like To Try And Get Good Performance Out Of The Engine And Have The Temps A Little Low, The Reason Is That During A Main When The Tank Gets Low The Temps Shoot Up To 260-280 And I Dont Really Like To Run That Hot, I Smoked An Engine After 3 Gallons Running Hot, Had Good Smoke, High Temps, Then Snap Went The Conn Rod. Thats Why I Would Like To Get Good Performance And Keep The Engine Around 220, I'll Put The Lsn Back To Factory Setting And Try That. Thanks
